Lifting energy types in Korea

Published

RF, focused ultrasound and parallel-beam ultrasound describe different delivery architectures, with applicator-specific boundaries.

Surface electrodes, penetrating pins, imaging transducers and muscle-stimulation modules should not be merged under one lifting label.

Surface RF records: Thermage FLX, Volnewmer, 10THERMA, DENSITY and XERF share an RF label but retain different device and indication records.

  • StatisticsKorea POTENZA tips

POTENZA applicators: The brand name alone does not answer whether needles are used.

  • StatisticsKorea Sofwave modules

Sofwave modules: The selected SofWave System documents contain more than one module.

  • ArticleWhy identify the console, handpiece and tip?

Console versus tip: A platform name can cover surface RF, penetrating RF or another module.

  • ArticleWhere is ultrasound imaging documented in devices?

Ultrasound imaging: The Ulthera instructions describe DeepSEE visualization, while selected ULTRAFORMER product records do not establish the same imaging field.

How are lifting energy types grouped?

The documented energy and delivery method distinguish surface RF, RF needles and ultrasound architectures.

Monopolar and bipolar describe RF circuit arrangements. Skin penetration instead concerns the electrode or applicator. A platform can support more than one accessory, so these descriptions answer different questions.

Why can lifting energy types depend on a tip?

The tip determines the contact or penetration configuration that accompanies the energy source.

POTENZA is an example of a platform with both penetrating and noninvasive branches. A manufacturer-wide label cannot replace an exact accessory record. The same distinction keeps Forma surface-contact information separate from Morpheus8 electrodes.

How do lifting energy types distinguish treatment and imaging?

Ultrasound visualization is a documented system function; it is not implied by every ultrasound treatment name.

Ulthera IFU identifies DeepSEE visualization. A manufacturer description of focused ultrasound on another system does not by itself establish the same imaging arrangement. Sofwave SUPERB parallel beams and Pure Impact electrical muscle stimulation also remain different modules.

What can lifting energy types not decide?

Energy labels do not rank pain, safety, expected benefit or suitability for an individual.

Different studies, endpoints and body areas would need their own clinical review. The technology hub concerns identification and document scope, while personal goals and treatment choices require a separate clinical discussion.

What else do people ask about lifting energy types?

Is all RF microneedling?

No. The applicator description determines penetration.

Is parallel ultrasound the same as focused ultrasound?

The architectures remain separate in the documented systems.

Does monopolar mean a particular depth?

A circuit label does not prescribe treatment depth.

Can imaging prove the best clinical result?

An imaging function does not establish comparative clinical superiority.

Can the same shot count compare systems?

Shot counts across devices are not a universal performance unit.
