# Lifting device types in Korea

> Exact model, generation and applicator identify a device more precisely than its brand name alone.

Oligio generations, DENSITY trade names and regional ultrasound names each have different evidence for their identity relationships.

## Why do lifting device types need a generation name?

A later generation may have a separate configuration or document even when it shares a brand.

Oligio, Oligio X and Oligio XM retain separate identities. DENSITY, DENZA and DENSITY Noir instead appear together in one selected US document. The question is which record supports the relationship, not how many commercial names can be counted.

**Different name relationships**

| Relationship | Example | Reading condition |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Separate generations | Oligio / X / XM | Do not transfer one model’s scope |
| Names in one document | DENSITY / DENZA / Noir | Preserve market and configuration |
| Regional naming statement | Shurink Universe / MPT | Match local label separately |

## How do lifting device types distinguish a console and a handpiece?

A console supplies the platform while its handpiece and tip identify the documented delivery configuration.

InMode platform names do not replace the Forma or Morpheus8 applicator name. A document can give those accessories different indications. The model finder keeps the supporting links with each selected configuration.

## Which label fields help identify lifting device types?

Trade name, model, accessory and document identifier provide separate matching fields.

A UDI record can help identify a labeler or model but does not substitute for indications for use. Similarly, a manufacturer naming statement identifies a relation without proving interchangeable consumables.

**Label and document fields**

| Field | Supports | Still separate |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Trade name | Commercial identity | Exact legal model |
| UDI identity | Labeler and model record | Indications and local permit |
| Accessory label | Handpiece or tip | Revision and market scope |

## What remains unresolved for lifting device types?

Korean permits were matched for 14 of 17 records by product or model name; installed-label matches remain open.

An absent permit field is a research gap, not a finding of unauthorized use. Product identity can still be read within the selected manufacturer or overseas document scope while that gap stays visible.

## What else do people ask about lifting device types?

### Are X and XM the same Oligio?

They are separate records in this collection.

### Are three DENSITY names three devices?

One selected US document lists the three names together.

### Does a local alias prove identical cartridges?

No. Cartridge and configuration matching remains separate.

### Can a UDI replace an indication?

UDI identity and indications are different source roles.

### Does an unmatched name mean unauthorized use?

It means this collection has not matched that name.
